Robert Auch (MCSE, RHCE, CSSA) is a Senior Systems Architect with over 20 years of experience designing and maintaining Novell, Windows, and Linux networked systems. Robert has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 1998, is has been too engaged with customers to take tests to renew his Certified Sonicwall Security Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certifications since they expired in 2012.
Robert has worked primarily in the private and government sectors, with clients including more than 10 Fortune 100 companies, multi-national financial institutions, major online retailers, large municipal school districts, including customers on 4 continents. He has contributed to security mailing lists such as BugTraq and SecurityFocus’ Incidents mailing list and has contributed both QA and code fixes to multiple cross-platform interoperability FOSS projects.
Robert has designed systems utilizing F5 Networks’ Local Traffic Manager and Global Traffic Manager products to provide highly available disaster-aware solutions to the businesses he works for. He as been working with F5 solutions since version 4.2. Robert has experience with Cisco IOS and is a trained Cisco ASA administrator.
Robert spent 8 years doing project work migrating customers’ directory servers to provide full PCI and SOX compliance around account management for cross-platform (Windows and Unix) account management and security controls. He current architects security solutions for Privileged Account Management for BeyondTrust’s largest customers.
